As a Yard Person, you’ll play an essential part in the daily operation of our busy yard, including:
- Carry out minor repairs and pre-hires
- Conducting daily stocktakes of the wash bay and workshop areas
- Groom machines to a high standard and assist mechanics where required
- Moving buckets and attachments, tagging them with fleet numbers
- Relocating machines from workshop exit points to designated green-tagged zones
- General yard maintenance - sweeping, clearing hazards, back-blading metal areas
- Assisting with delivery and pickup of machines for dispatch, certification (COF/WOF), and workshop servicing
- Physically fit and ready to work outdoors
- Positive attitude and a strong work ethic
- Good communication skills and a team player mindset
- Experience with earthmoving machinery is an advantage (but not essential)
- WTR and F endorsements are preferred - but if you’re the right person, we’ll help you obtain them!
