Senior Organic Grocery Packer

The Senior Packer plays a key role in our packing operations. Approximate hours of work are Tuesdays 9am-5pm and Wednesdays 6am-4pm. Occasionally work is required on a Thursday. Reliable transport to our North Shore based premises is essential.

Responsibilities include:

• Receive incoming produce and products, checking for accuracy and quality
• Take the lead on our prep day to pre-pick orders
• Assist with inventory management
• Assist with warehouse set up and pack down
• Play a critical role on the packing line to weigh and pack produce, bakery and chilled items with attention to detail and care

You must:

• Have impeccable attention to detail
• Be able to multi-task and take initiative
• Have an excellent command of written and spoken English
• Be physically fit and be able to lift 15kg
• Have a positive can-do attitude
• Have compassion for others and a good sense of humour
• Be passionate or keen to learn more about organic produce and artisan products
