- Full Time Position (Tuesday and Wednesday off week 1, Monday and Tuesday off week 2)
- $23.99 - $29.10 per hour (depending on qualifications)
About the role:
Are you passionate about making a positive impact in people's lives? Join our team as a full-time Support Staff member in Kaiapoi. You'll have the opportunity to assist residents with their everyday activities, including shopping, meal preparation, household chores, personal support, and community outings.
Note: Hawksbury is accredited to hire staff on an Accredited Employer Work Visa (AEWV), we do not have a Job Check for this position so cannot support applicant with the visa process.
Ideally, you'll have an NZ Certificate in Health and Wellbeing Level 2 or equivalent along with:- A positive attitude to supporting people with learning disability.
- A full New Zealand driver's licence.
- Great communication skills (written and verbal).
- Sound computer skills.
- Ongoing development opportunities. If you haven't already completed NZ Certificate in Health and Wellbeing Level 2 and 3, we will support you to complete these.
- Paid time off the floor to complete your fully funded First aid certificate in addition to Safe Manual Handling, Falls Prevention and Dysphagia training.
