We are looking for a talented and experienced professional to enhance our team. If you have a solid background in canvas or upholstery work, a meticulous eye for detail, and a passion for high-quality craftsmanship, we want to hear from you! This is a great opportunity to learn from some of the best!

• Commercial sewing experience in upholstery, car/boat trimming, or canvas work is preferable but this is something we can teach.

• Measure and prepare fabric for cutting according to specifications and patterns.
• Conduct thorough inspections of fabric to identify and address defects before cutting.
• Adhere to safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
• Basic patterning skills for covers or upholstery are required.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Physically able to lift and handle large items.
• Accurate in measurements and pattern work.
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
• Eagerness to learn new skills and enhance existing ones.
• Familiarity with commercial sewing machines.

• Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines while adapting to changing priorities.
• Good math skills.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues.
• Physical stamina to lift rolls of fabric and perform tasks effectively.
• Self-motivated, able to follow instructions, and work independently.
• Must be currently residing in New Zealand.
