Truck Driver

Our company is looking for a permanent, full-time, Truck Driver (Class 4) to join our busy

team.

• Energetic drivers who are punctual and able to work rostered shifts from Sunday to Thursday.
• We are looking for people who are drug free and able to perform the following tasks ;
• Must be able to drive a truck in which you have endorsement on your license.
• Drive and position your truck in a very effective manner for loading and off loading of goods and other products .
• Capable in loading and unloading truck using lifting or tipping devices and hot mix knowledges .
• Must be alert in observing safety requirements while loading or unloading of goods or other product ,
• Must observe and comply with all the rules and regulation while on public road ,
• Keep the vehicle in a very clean and tidy condition at all times ,
• Daily check oil and water before starting the engine ,
• Ensure to maintain the vehicle in a road worthy condition.
• Ensure to comply with weight requirement and see the load is equally distributed ,
• Ensure the load is properly secured or covered to prevent loss, damage or spill on the road ,
• Must be able to verify loading documents ,
• Must be able to obtain certificates of deliveries if required,

• Must keep your logbook up to date and Notifying the company of any accidents or damage to the vehicle immediately and complete the appropriate paperwork within 24 hours.
• Maintain a current driver’s license applicable for the vehicle you drive.
• Any other duties assigned by management .

• Heavy Vehicle License (NZ Class 4 or Overseas Equivalent)
• Two years relevant experience
• Good knowledge of applicable Health & Safety requirements and best practice (will be tested at interview)
• Good communication skills due to regular interaction with clients, other drivers and

Pay rate: $30 per hour
