2800 SU consisting of 1300 MA ewes, 800 lambing hoggets, wintering 150 Angus calves and fattening lambs, beef x heifers and R2 Angus cattle.
This farm is run in conjunction, and as support to a 680 ha rolling and hill, breeding property in Wendonside, 20 minutes away.
The Wendonside property is run by the owners.
There will be involvement with the owners for large events such as weaning, tailing, drenching etc.

Tractor driving experience, feeding out and cultivation.
Feed budgeting and monitoring.
Good eye for stock condition and health.
Proactive animal health and health and safety planning.

But the day to day running and managing of the Longridge farms stock, events and contractors will be managed by the recipient of this job.

Requirements: NZ Citizen with a full drivers license.
5years + farming experience.Tractor driving experience, feeding out and cultivation.

- 4 good working dogs.
Ability to work well by themselves and with owners, casuals, contractors, reps and agents.
Passion for livedstock breeding, finishing and pasture renewal.Self motivated and have good time management.
