Warehouse Manager

Our Manufacturing client is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee all aspects of warehouse & logistics operations, from inwards good, inventory management and dispatch. This is a small warehouse which supports on-site manufacturing operations, so this will be a hands-on role with one direct report.

• Inwards Goods: ensure that raw materials & finished goods are accurately receipted
• Inventory Management: Ensure database accurately reflects stock counts & stock is rotated to manage self-life
• Customer Service: Manage orders inbox and assist with customer queries in a timely and accurate manner
• Order Fulfilment: Manage picking, packing and dispatch of orders
• Freight Coordination: Arrange local and international freight, including DG documentations, container bookings & shipment paperwork
• Health & Safety: Enforce warehouse safety standards, equipment checks & policy compliance. Attend H&S meetings
• Site Maintenance: Management of waste & recycling collections, ensure staff are maintaining fork hoists & completing daily check sheets

• Salary negotiable between $80,000 and $90,000 p.a
• Monday - Friday
• Dayshifts & flexible start & finish times

• Proven experience within warehousing and logistics
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• The ability to work hands-on and lead by example
• Experience operating a forklift & a valid licence (or be willing to obtain one)
• Experience handling chemicals, dangerous goods & raw materials. Preferred but not essential
