Telecommunication Technician Needed

Kauri Senior Care Limited is seeking one telecommunication technician to join our busy for an immediate start.
Location of Work: AucklandNumber of Vacancies: 1
Type of employment: Permanent position, at least 30 hours per week
Days required: Monday to Friday
Pay: $30 - $35 per hour
Key Tasks:
- Installing and connecting telecommunication/security monitoring equipment (hardware and software) to networks
- Negotiating, testing and purchasing telecommunication/security monitoring hardware from suppliers in Asia
- Inspecting and ensuring the proper functioning of equipment and software
- Diagnosing and fixing faults in system and equipment
- Providing update for IT system and equipment
- Providing technical assistance to staff
- Performing other duties as directed by manager
Successful applicants will have:
- At least 3-year relevant experience or a bachelor’s degree/diploma in telecommunication/communication engineering and
- Proficiency in installing, troubleshooting and repairing various telecommunication systems and software
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to quickly identify and resolve issues
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
