Project Manager
This respected New Zealand-owned consultancy delivers high-quality, end-to-end project management construction services across a variety of sectors nationwide. With a strong and growing pipeline across Northland and a commercially astute leadership team, they are well positioned for continued success in the region.
They’re now looking for a Project Manager to join their Northland team, based in Kerikeri and working closely with the Whangarei office. This role is well suited to an intermediate level Project Manager who is looking to balance lifestyle in Northland while working for a highly regarded consultancy with great career growth and development pathways.
Working alongside experienced Senior Project Managers and Project Directors, you’ll play a key role in delivering a strong pipeline of education projects, while also having exposure to healthcare and commercial developments. You’ll be supported to manage your own portfolio and clients, within a team that is practical, collaborative, and focused on delivering high-quality outcomes.
The Role:
- Deliver projects from inception through to completion, with a strong focus on education, alongside healthcare and commercial work
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor
- Coordinate design, procurement, and construction phases
- Manage project financials, including cost control, forecasting, and programme tracking
- Contribute to project strategy, risk management, and reporting
- Work closely with the wider Northland team while being part of a connected national business
About You:
- 4–7 years’ project management experience within consultancy or client-side environments in New Zealand
- Degree-qualified in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field
- Proven ability to deliver projects across both design and construction phases
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Exposure to NZ3910 contract management
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and confident working both autonomously and as part of a team
- Experience in education, healthcare, or commercial projects advantageous
