Head Teacher (BestStart Opihi)
We're on the lookout for a passionate and dedicated Qualified and Registered Teacher to take the next step in their career and join us as the Head Teacher in our Preschool Room at BestStart Opihi.
About the Centre
Located in the heart of Temuka, BestStart Opihi is a warm, welcoming, and semi-rural centre with strong ties to our local community. We work in close partnership with parents and whanau to support tamariki on their individual learning journeys.
We have two closely connected classrooms and a mixed-age preschool room (2–5 years). We foster tuakana-teina relationships, where older and younger tamariki support and learn from one another. Our philosophy – “Together we take risks, together we grow” – reflects our commitment to curiosity, exploration, and child-led learning.
