About the Role

Join our dedicated and hard-working WellFood Department and help feed our turoro (patients) and whanau.
Starting from $27.80 per hour, Based on the Etu Multi-Employer Collective Agreement
Shift times
Monday 11am to 7.30pm
Tuesday 4.30pm to 7.30pm
Wednesday 4.30pm to 7.30pm
Thursday 11am to 7.30pm
Sunday 4.30pm to 7.30pm
You will be responsible for:
- Carrying out the general kitchen and ward duties which will include washing dishes and preparing and presenting food.
- Provide great customer service to our turoro (patients) and their whanau.
- Clean benches and surrounds
- Sweep and mop floors
- Clean, sanitise and store equipment
- Handle waste and linen
- Clean and maintain kitchen areas
- Replenish supplies in service areas
- Receive and rotate stock
- Complete and sign cleaning rosters
- Maintaining a safe work environment
About you
Skills and Experience- Exceptional skill and passion for food
- Food handling experience desirable but not essential
- A friendly, positive attitude with the ability to maintain speed without compromising standards.
- Reliable with good time management.
- Flexible approach and a 'can do' attitude and excellent communication skills.
- Have previous experience in a similar environment.
