Distillery Apprentice

Do you dream of a career in the world of spirits? We’re looking for a passionate Distillery Apprentice to join our award-winning team and learn the art and science of craft distilling at one of New Zealand’s most innovative distilleries.

This is your opportunity to gain hands-on experience across every part of the distillery – from fermentation and distilling to bottling, stock control, and cellar door hospitality.

• Support daily production: mashing, fermenting, distilling, bottling, and labelling.
• Assist with stock control, dispatch, and warehouse management.
• Keep the distillery humming: cleaning, maintenance, and quality checks.
• Contribute to cellar door tastings, tours, and events.
• Work alongside the production manager and production team, developing real industry skills.

• Passion for the beverage industry and craft spirits.
• Experience in distilling, brewing, or winemaking (professional or hobbyist) an advantage.
• Strong work ethic, practical hands-on skills, and a willingness to learn.
• Ability to lift heavy items and flexibility for occasional weekend or evening work.

• Competitive hourly wage-$23-28 per hour
