About the role
Our talented team of clinical coders deliver accurate, thorough information for the health of our region.
You will be responsible for identifying and translating inpatient medical procedures, interventions ad diagnoses into code using various systems such as ICD 10-AM 12th Edition, the Australian Coding Standards (ACS) and the Australian Classification of Health Interventions (ACHI).
The role is a full time opportunity working Monday to Friday based at Southland Hospital or can be remote.

About you
The successful applicant will have coded in ICD-10-AM 12th edition and will therefore have a sound understanding of the requirements of clinical coding within a health environment and should also be a Level 3 Clinical coding with coding experience in a New Zealand hospital.
