About The Role - Te mahi

We are looking for a proactive Weekend Front Office Porter to join our team at Sudima Christchurch City. This is a position that will primarily focus on providing outstanding guest service while supporting the front office operations.

This is a part-time role with 5 minimum hours per week at the pay of $25.50 per hour. Shifts will be mainly weekends (Saturday and Sunday), this could include public holidays. Ability to work morning or evening shifts on a rotating roster is essential.

Responsibilities | Ngā haepapa
  • Assist guests with check-in and check-out processes.
  • Facilitate luggage handling, ensuring a smooth transition for guests upon arrival and departure.
  • Provide accurate information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
  • Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries, enhancing their overall experience.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the front office and lobby areas.
  • Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Valet parking.

Requirements

About You | Ko Koe Tēnei
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Previous experience in a similar role or customer service is preferred.
  • Ability to work morning and evening, particularly on weekends.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively.
  • Positive attitude, with a passion for providing exceptional guest service.
  • Must have the right to work in New Zealand.
  • Must have a Full New Zealand Drivers License.
