We’re seeking casual Support Workers across East, South, West, and North Shore Auckland. If you're available weekdays, weekends and can start soon, we’d love to hear from you!

In these roles you, will you be a support system and a catalyst for a more fulfilling life for our clients. If you have experience in aged care, rehab, mental health, disability support and in safely using hoists and lifting equipment, this could be your chance to shine.

What does a Phoenix Healthcare Support Worker do?

The support you provide will include:

  • Personal Care Assistance (showering, dressing, toileting and bowel and bladder care)
  • Giving medications
  • Community Integrations
  • Household Management (cleaning and meal preparation)
  • Helping clients live their best life by supporting them to achieve their personal goals

Whether you come with a wealth of experience as a Support Worker seeking a new direction or are exploring a career where your genuine enthusiasm and compassion for assisting others can have a meaningful impact on people's lives, we welcome you.

To thrive in Support Working role, you will have:
  • A minimum Level 3 or 4 qualification in Health and Wellbeing, or an equivalent from another country, is beneficial but not essential. We also welcome applicants who may not hold formal qualifications but have relevant previous experience.
  • Good spoken English.
  • Ability to pass a police vet.
  • A full NZ Driver’s License and a reliable vehicle.
  • Having a current First Aid Certificate is a bonus, and if you don’t have one, we can help you obtain it.
  • Flexibility opens doors to more shifts! We have a variety of shifts (including covers, sleepovers, wake overs and weekend shifts).

Please note that the 90-day trial period will apply to any successful applicant who has not previously worked for Phoenix Healthcare Group.
