We're currently looking for a reliable and customer-focused Online Picker / Delivery Driver to join our busy team. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working independently while still being part of a supportive team.
About the RoleAs an Online Picker / Delivery Driver, you'll be responsible for picking and delivering online shopping orders accurately and on time. You'll represent our store as a brand ambassador, providing exceptional customer service with every delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and pack online orders
- Deliver orders safely and efficiently to customers' homes or designated addresses
- Represent Brookfield New World with professionalism and a positive attitude
- Support the Online Team in achieving service and delivery targets
- A full, clean NZ driver's license
- Proven driving experience, preferably with perishable or grocery goods
- Excellent attention to detail
- Great communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical fitness – able to lift and carry heavy items regularly
- Basic computer skills and confidence using technology
- A customer-first attitude with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Flexibility, honesty, punctuality, and reliability
Previous experience in food retail or fresh produce is an advantage, but not essential.
Position Details* Full-time role (30 hours) including one weekend day- Additional hours may be required depending on business needs
