ABOUT THE JOB

The ideal candidate will already be confident and competent across industrial electrical, mechanical, hydraulics and CNC/PC.
We are looking for an experienced senior technician that can hit the ground running. Once you've learnt the ropes, you will be out on the road 99% of the time so the role is very autonomous. We take care of everything back at the office. You take care of everything out in the field.
Tasks include:- Installation and commissioning of new machinery
- Trouble-shooting and repairing machinery breakdowns
- Operator training
- Undertaking regular and preventative maintenance
- Consulting with our clients on technical issues

ABOUT YOU
Our ideal candidate will have:- 5+ years’ experience as an industrial electrician or field technician used to working on CNC machinery
- Full drivers and electrical licenses are essential
- Excellent communication skills with a strong customer service focus
- Advanced strengths in diagnostic work, fault finding and problem resolution
- The ability to work quickly under pressure without supervision
- Naturally technically-minded with a good understanding of related software and PCs
- The flexibility for some nationwide travel (Monday to Friday) as required
- Your own basic tools
And if you happen to also have any PLC programming and/or AutoCAD experience, this would put you at the top of the Unicorn list!
