Rest Home Cook- Casual

Malyon House is an award-winning rest home and hospital in Mt Maunganui.

We are looking for awesome people to join our award-winning team providing the very best care in the heart of the Mount.

We care for 56 residents in our home, and we're looking for more team members who are keen to work in our busy kitchen, providing delicious nutritious meals to our residents as well as Meals on Wheels to the local community.

As a cook you are accountable for the preparation, cooking and service of food to agreed standards as well as for the overall efficient and effective management of the team. You are responsible for ensuring that there is a full compliance to the approved food control plan.

This role is casual, 6.30am-2.30pm, which means weekend shifts will be included. You will be covering annual leave, sickness etc. We are looking for a candidate who is also willing to cover fixed term roster in few month's time to cover maternity leave for one of our Cook's.

Experience is essential - we welcome those who would like to join us in providing the very best service to older people.

Good grasp of English is essential, as is your right to work in New Zealand.
