Motel Manager
We require a Motel Manager to organise and control the operations of our motel to provide accommodation and related services to guests. The role involves overseeing daily operations, managing staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, handling reservations and finances, and maintaining compliance with health and safety standards.
Hours: 30 per weekPay Rate: $28 (negotiable)
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Managing and supervising the daily operations of the motelOverseeing reservations, room allocations, check-ins, and check-outs
Ensuring high standards of customer service and guest satisfaction
Managing budgets, financial records, and banking activities
Monitoring occupancy rates and implementing marketing strategies to maximise revenue
Recruiting, training, and supervising reception, housekeeping, and maintenance staff
Handling guest complaints and resolving operational issues
Maintaining motel facilities, cleanliness, and safety standards
Coordinating maintenance and repair work
Managing stock and supplies for housekeeping and guest services
Ensuring compliance with local licensing, health, safety, and employment regulations
Liaising with suppliers, contractors, and tourism agencies
Preparing reports on business performance and occupancy trends

Skills and Experience:
Diploma or higher qualification in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Project Management or Business Management; Relevant work experience in motel, hotel, or accommodation management
