We are also looking for a Store Manager for our company that runs a Variety store in Oamaru, South Island. This is a full time position offer with minimum of 30hr/week at a pay rate $24 per hour depending on your profile.
Your Duties will be:-
Be responsible for the overall store operations.Develop and execute a marketing plan tailored to local customers, ensuring pricing aligns with local market dynamics to drive sales.
Ensure the store is properly stocked with products and avoid shortage or overstocking of the goods.
Maintain proper inventory levels, ensure stocking, purchasing and maintain contact with suppliers to ensure maximum efficiency to drive sales.
Hire and train as needed to ensure enough staff is available at all times to provide good customer service.
Conduct regular performance evaluations of staff and provide feedback to promote professional growth.
Provide good customer service all throughout.
Develop operational excellence to maintain a safe and clean environment for staff and customers.
Establish and keep up with the standards that ensure good customer experiences, promptly addressing feedback and complaints.
Ensure full compliance with health and safety standards, fostering a respectful, harassment-free workplace with professional behaviour and punctuality.
Requirement:-
You must have a minimum of 3 years of work experience or a bachelors degree.Good communication.
Be able to lead the team and make good decisions.
