Our organisation values and promise statement – Best Care for Everyone - serve to inspire us to continuously improve to provide the best care possible to each and every person and their family.About this role:This important role of Senior Educator in our Moving and Handling Team is a part-time (0.5 FTE) permanent role; reporting to our Moving and Handling Programme Manager you will be part of the wider Organisational Development Team (Diagnostic and Clinical Support Services at the moment?). The role has a diverse range of responsibilities across clinical and non-clinical areas for our District.
You will have the opportunity to lead, transform and contribute to our Moving and Handling Programme. The Moving and Handling team are dedicated to developing Moving and Handling practise and knowledge throughout the organisation and beyond. You will work with a fantastic group of people who share your professional interests.You will be based at North Shore Hospital but will also be required work at Waitakere Hospital and other satellite sites.About your experience:You are an experienced facilitator of face-to-face learningYou are experienced with Moving Handling practise and knowledge preferably in a Health-based environmentYou have high level people capability skills and emotional intelligenceYou understand adult learning and blended approachesYou know how to connect into and navigate a large organisationYou can work with the detail, and also take a strategic view of the workYou are highly creative and invested in great learning experiencesAbout you:You’re a team player and enjoy working with othersYou are an awesome communicator, both verbal and writtenYou have strong organisational skillsYou are customer/stakeholder focused and friendlyYou are self-motivated, creative and action orientated.Working at Health New ZealandHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare for the people of New Zealand.
