Working hours: 30 - 40 hours per week on a full time basis.
Full timeWage will be from $28 - $35.00 per hour
Day shift: 6:00 AM - 2:40 PMAfternoon shift: 2:40 PM - 10:00 PM
All applicants can be shifted upon the request of the company.
Job Summary:Position Summary:
The Quality Assurance Officer ensures that all products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance. This role involves implementing quality control procedures, monitoring production processes, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards.The ideal candidate will have a background in Food Technology or Medical Laboratory Science, with strong attention to detail and a passion for maintaining excellence in quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities:
Quality Assurance and Control
Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.Conduct routine inspections, audits, and testing to verify product consistency and quality.
Identify and address quality issues promptly, implementing corrective actions where necessary.
Regulatory Compliance
Ensure all products meet local and international regulations and certifications (e.g., HACCP, GMP, ISO standards).Prepare and maintain documentation required for regulatory and quality audits.
Testing and Analysis
Perform quality tests on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.Analyze test results and report findings to the quality assurance and production teams.
Process Improvement
Collaborate with production and R&D teams to improve manufacturing processes and product quality.Recommend and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and reduce defects.
Training and Support
Provide training to staff on quality standards, procedures, and compliance requirements.Support the implementation of new quality systems and technologies.
Key Requirements:
Education and QualificationsA Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Medical Laboratory Science, or a related field.
Additional certifications in quality management systems (e.g., HACCP, ISO 22000) are an advantage.
Experience
Preferable experience in a quality assurance or quality control role, preferably in a manufacturing or laboratory setting.
Skills and Competencies
Strong knowledge of quality control procedures, regulatory requirements, and food or laboratory safety standards.Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Proficiency in using quality management software and tools is a plus.
Other Requirements
Familiarity with laboratory testing methods and equipment is highly desirable.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
