At The Pure Food Co, we’re passionate about keeping our food manufacturing facility running efficiently and delivering excellence in food safety, quality, and performance. We are seeking a Maintenance Technician Assistant to help us minimize downtime, troubleshoot equipment, and drive continuous improvement.

What You'll Do:
  • Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections.
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment (including conveyors, commercial mincers, pumps, kettles, filling and sealing machines).
  • Assist with minor installations and basic fabrication tasks.
  • Source and order parts, tools, and equipment as needed.
  • Maintain clean and safe work areas after completing tasks.
  • Support building maintenance including minor repairs, painting, and facility upkeep.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
  • Uphold strong Health & Safety and Food Safety standards.
What You'll Bring:
  • Valid Counterbalance & Reach Truck license, or willingness to obtain one.
  • Welding experience with stainless steel.
  • Ability to understand technical machine drawings and SOPs.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, pressure, and moving machinery.
  • Strong knowledge of health & safety compliance.
  • Bonus points for experience with refrigeration systems and the IDDSI framework!
