About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee our day-to-day field operations, workforce scheduling, and project delivery. The successful candidate will ensure smooth coordination between clients, technicians, and management, while maintaining our high standards of service quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, manage, and support cleaning and restoration teams to ensure timely and efficient job completion.
Oversee job allocation, scheduling, and quality control for multiple projects simultaneously.
Liaise with clients, insurance companies, and suppliers to coordinate service delivery.
Monitor staff performance, training needs, and adherence to health and safety protocols.
Manage fleet and equipment maintenance to ensure operational readiness.
Review daily reports, site photos, and job documentation to maintain service quality.
Prepare and monitor budgets, resource allocation, and operational KPIs.
Support business growth through process improvement and client satisfaction initiatives.
Skills and Experience
Proven experience in an operations, project, or team management role (preferably in cleaning, restoration, or facility services).
Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate field teams.
Sound understanding of health and safety compliance in service operations.
Proficient in digital job management systems (e.g. ServiceM8, SimPRO, or similar).
Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
Full New Zealand driver’s licence is essential.
