Hours per week: guaranteed a minimum of 30 hours a week, a maximum of 40 hours a week.
Minimum hourly rate: $27, Maximum hourly rate: $32, depends on experience
Job Description:- examining foodstuffs to ensure quality
- regulating temperatures of ovens, grills and other cooking equipment
- preparing and cooking food
- seasoning food during cooking
- portioning food, placing it on plates, and adding gravies, sauces and garnishes
- storing food in temperature-controlled facilities
- preparing food to meet special dietary requirements
- may plan menus and estimate food requirements
- may train other kitchen staff and apprentices
- any other duties that may be assigned by the owner.
- At least 2 years relevant work experience
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- honest, reliable, and self-motivated
- Available to work on weekends and public holidays when required
- Drug free with clean police certificate
- Fit for lifting heavy items if required
