MÓN is a seven day a week food producer with a high volume Café, Restaurant and a separate Artisan Bakery located in the centre of Havelock North village.
We are looking for the best hospitality staff to help take our business to the next level. We are a cafe - bakery by day and asian fusion restaurant by night.
We are looking for the following professional and passionate staff:- Bartender / Bar Manager
- Barista
- Cafe Assistant
- Restaurant Assistant
All roles are permanent employment.
Responsibilities:
Bartender / Duty Manager - Take full responsibility for the effective operation of our bar, ensuring effective delivery of high quality customer service, food and drink, managing all drink standards with the Restaurant Manager, health & safety requirements and working with the directors to maximise business efficiency and profit.Drinks & Cocktail development and planning with Restaurant Manager, costing, ordering and inventory, monitoring and maintaining consistent standards and quality, staff leadership. Skills/experience preferred: time in busy cafe/restaurant/bar, Duty Manager or in a similar leadership role, Liquor Controlling License (LCQ) and Managers Certification.
Barista – Provide exceptional service to customers. Assist in all aspects of the cafe; serving customers clearing tables, restocking, packaging, dishes, cleaning. Make latte art coffee and specialty drinks with speed whilst interacting with customers.They will be able to work on a La Marzocco KB90, Mythos 2 Grinders and a Puq Press. Training available.
Cafe Assistant – Provide exceptional service to customers. Assist in all aspects of the cafe; serving customers clearing tables, restocking, packaging, dishes, cleaning. (Full-Time or Part-Time available)
Restaurant Assistant – Provide exceptional service to customers. Assist in all aspects of the restaurant; serving customers clearing tables, restocking, packaging, dishes, cleaning. (Afternoons & Evenings) (Full-Time or Part-Time available)
Expectations:- 5 days a week and required to work Saturday and/or Sunday*
- 40 hr week (Minimum of 36 hours/week) - Part-time Hours available
- Permanent Full-Time
- Applicants must have the right to work in New Zealand
