Liftx Limited is on the lookout for a reliable and motivated Parts Assistant to join our Christchurch-based team. If you're familiar with parts and logistics, and have experience in a fast-paced mechanical or industrial environment – we want to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing- Providing support to our customers, workshop and field service teams
- Ordering and receiving parts accurately and efficiently
- Managing inbound and outbound freight, including international shipping
- Conducting regular parts stocktakes and price reviews
- Using part manuals to identify and confirm correct part codes
- Negotiating freight pricing (air/sea) based on urgency or preference
- Packaging parts for couriers and preparing documentation
- Selling parts to customers over the counter and via phone/email
- Supplying stock to technicians and maintaining internal inventory
- Participating in toolbox meetings and supporting general operations
- Proven experience in a Parts Person or similar role
- Knowledge of parts and technical components (industry experience preferred)
- Familiarity with international shipping and freight logistics
- Strong computer skills, ideally with SimPro
- Excellent communication, negotiation and customer service skills
- Self-motivated, reliable and able to work both independently and in a team
- Willingness to work some overtime and Saturdays when required (e.g. stocktakes)
