You will be a key point of contact for nurses and other healthcare professionals, providing essential support and information. Your daily tasks will be varied, including dispensing a wide range of pharmaceuticals, preparing non-sterile compounded products, and assisting with stock management to maintain optimal inventory levels.This is a role where your attention to detail and commitment to patient safety will directly contribute to excellent patient care. You'll work collaboratively with pharmacists and other technicians in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.You will be exposed to automated dispensing units (Pyxis) - this is an ongoing project rolling across 2025-2026.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a patient focused, multidisciplinary team and experience hospital pharmacy. About the Team/Service/ LocationOur team is split across two sites (Rotorua and Taupo) and consists of 19 staff members: 13xpharmacists, 1xPharmacy intern and 5x technicians.
