Are you looking to own your own business, while having the security of being supported by a successful global company? The continued growth of Mainfreight across New Zealand means we are looking for more owner drivers to support our supply chain, as we continue our 100-year journey.

There is an exciting opportunity to become an owner driver for Mainfreight Metro Christchurch!

Day-to-day responsibilities:

• Safe loading, securing, and unloading of freight
• Managing the pick-up and delivery of freight, on time and damage free
• Ensuring your truck is maintained in immaculate condition

Job requirements:

• Current Class 2 Drivers Licence
• Transport service Licence (TSL)
• Forklift Licence (OSH)
• Dangerous goods license
• A positive attitude and a quick learner
• English proficient and excellent communication
• Appropriate finance with the ability to purchase an appropriate vehicle - there is currently a truck for sale from a previous owner driver
