What You’ll Do
We’re looking for a talented Insurance Broker to join our growth minded company. You’ll connect with clients, understand their needs, and deliver tailored insurance solutions. With our dynamic, fast paced culture, you’ll have the freedom to chase new business, tap into fresh markets, and grow your client book.
You’ll be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of business clients, providing expert insurance advice, and delivering a high service experience throughout the entire insurance cycle.
Your Responsibilities- Manage, retain and GROW your book of clients.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to fuel your growth.
- Building strong, lasting relationships with clients to meet their insurance needs.
- Assess risks and recommend the insurance products and coverage.
- Negotiate with insurers to gather competitive deals for clients.
- Support clients with renewals, claims, and risk management advice.
- Stay sharp on industry trends, regulations, and new products.
- Follow policy, legal, and good conduct standards.
- An understanding that performance and going the extra mile is rewarded.
- A growth mindset, eager for change and continuous learning.
- At least 3 years of commercial insurance experience.
- NZ Certificate (Level 5) in Financial Services – General Insurance.
- Ability to put people first, collaboration with clients, colleagues, and providers.
- Strong skills in building relationships.
- Organised, with a knack for prioritising and hitting key milestones.
- Creative problem-solving, thinking outside the box for the best outcomes.
