Hotel Receptionist

The Martinborough Hotel is a boutique luxury hotel located in the heart of Martinborough village. With 20 beautifully appointed rooms and suites, we welcome both leisure and corporate guests seeking comfort, charm, and exceptional service.

We’re currently looking for a part-time Receptionist / Customer Service Representative to join our small, friendly team.

If you enjoy meeting new people, love delivering great service, and can juggle multiple tasks with a smile, we’d love to hear from you. The ideal candidate will have previous customer service experience and a genuine commitment to creating memorable guest experiences.

You’ll be communicating with guests via email, phone, and in person, so great communication skills are a must. Experience in hospitality is a bonus, but we’re happy to train the right person.

Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Welcoming guests and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out experience
  • Managing bookings and guest communications
  • Handling general office and administrative duties
  • Taking sole charge of the front desk and hotel operations at times
What we’re looking for:
  • Availability for 2–3 shifts per week, including Saturdays and 1–2 weekdays (exact days to be agreed upon)
  • Approximately 20 hours per week
  • Confidence using computers, with familiarity in Microsoft Office
  • Willingness to learn our property management system
  • A proactive, flexible approach to daily tasks and problem-solving
