Hospital experience is preferred but not mandatory.

There will also be the opportunity toparticipate in our weekend roster (Saturday morning).About YouIn this role, you will be responsible for:Dispensing inpatient and outpatient medication including clinical trials, compassionate supplies, home IV therapy, chemotherapy and sterile productsRepackingCompounding sterile and non-sterile productsAssisting with the provision of clinical pharmacy services to wards including medication history taking and patient educationSupport in training of student technicians, intern and student pharmacists.

Your skills will include:Excellent communication, attention to detail and time management skillsA client-focused approach to work and a commitment to providing high-quality serviceAdaptable to changing team environmentsHospital pharmacy experience is advantageous but not essentialCompetency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reoMāori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of yourlearning and growth A Pharmacy Technician
