About the Role
Working closely with the owner and workshop team, you’ll play a part in overseeing daily operations, managing workflow, quoting jobs, and ensuring that both customers and staff receive excellent support.I would like someone with a good background in the automotive repair sector and a genuine passion for quality workmanship and team success.
What You’ll Be Doing
Managing customer communications and expectations throughout the repair processEstimating jobs accurately and sourcing required parts in a timely manner
Coordinating workflow and setting daily and weekly productivity targets
Supporting and leading staff to ensure timeframes and quality standards are met
Monitoring job progress and troubleshooting delays or issues
Upholding a strong focus on customer service, team culture, and workshop standards
What We’re Looking For
5+ years of experience in a panel and paint leadership
Estimating experienceStrong communication and organisational skills
The understanding of panel beating and paint shop operations
Ability to motivate and lead a team while maintaining a positive culture
Experience with quoting systems (i-Bodyshop) is an advantage, but not essential
A practical, hands-on mindset and willingness to go the extra mile for the team and customers
