  • Te Whatu Ora is firmly grounded in the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and is committed to building a health system that serves all New Zealanders.About the roleAn exciting opportunity has become available for a qualified and experienced Medical Imaging Technologist (MIT) to join our team at Lakes District Hospital on a casual basis.This role is based in General X-Ray, and you will be required to conduct Diagnostic Medical Imaging examinations in a safe and professional manner.
You will be required to liaise with staff and patients within the Hospital and wider Southern region, so good communication skills are essential.
You will need to have a focus on quality and professionalism and be able to work unsupervised.This role belongs to the APEX/DHBs Medical Imaging Technologists Collective Agreement and falls between Step 1 ($77,087 p.a) and Step 9 ($113,300 p.a pro rata) of the Medical Imaging Technologists scale.View position descriptionAbout usLakes District Hospital Radiology has both X-Ray and CT facilities which you will be working across if you are qualified to do so.Hours of work are currently rostered shifts Monday
  • Sunday from 0800
