We are currently looking for our next Centre Administrator to be a pivotal part of the day to day running of our childcare centre. This is a role perfect for someone with a passion for people and efficiency. Your warm, friendy and vibrant energy is key in making our whanau feel welcome in their home away from home.

About the Role:

As our Administrator, you will be involved in the essential work that goes on behind the scenes. You will work collaboratively with the Centre Manager to assist our centre in providing the best education to our tamariki whilst adhering to the Ministry's requirements.

Tasks & responsibilities
  • Front of house reception duties, including greeting whanau and tamariki by name and making them feel valued and welcome
  • Taking and collating new enrolments
  • Monthly budgets, accounts and debtors
  • Ministry of Education compliance and filing
  • Data entry of timesheets for payroll and attendance records
Qualifications & experience
  • Ideally, you will have experience in education and with the Discover student management system, but it is not mandatory.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a sharp eye for accuracy
  • Experience in a similar autonomous administration position
  • Personable, respectful, and friendly
  • Experience in debtors and monthly accounts
  • Exceptional organisation and time management skills
Hours of Work
  • 6 hours per day, Monday to Friday, 30 hours per week, start time is negotiable.
  • There is an opportunity to grow within the role to full-time hours.
