EOI - Multi-Skilled Labourers - O2NL Project

We are seeking expressions of interest from highly motivated General Labourers to join our growing Construction Crew team

**Otaki to North of Levin Project**

The Otaki to north of Levin (O2NL) highway will dramatically improve safety, resilience, and efficiency, as well as increasing transport choices for the area's growing population. The O2NL project is led in Partnership with NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi, Muaupoko Tribal Authority, local hapu of Ngati Raukawa ki te Tonga and council partner Horowhenua District Council.

We are seeking excellent people for this unique opportunity to work and collaborate with leading industry organisations.

Downer is proud to be a partner within the South Alliance alongside McConnell Dowell, Beca, and Tonkin + Taylor as Non-Owner Participants (NOPs). Our scope is from Otaki through to South of the Ohau river.

**Te kowhiringa | The Opportunity**

With preparations for O2NL's first Summer season underway, we are now seeking expressions of interest from experienced Labourers.

We are looking for competent operators to support a range of activities including:

• Day to day tasks on a construction site
• Stripping existing farm fencing
• Installing and maintaining silt fences
• Checking on erosion and sediment control devices

We're looking for skilled and committed laboruers who take pride in their work and understand the importance of contributing to a project that will leave a lasting legacy for the region. To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Full Class 1 drivers licence
• Proven experience using a range of hand and power tools
• A strong commitment to safe work practices and Zero Harm principles
• Reliability, a solid work ethic, and a willingness to support your team
• Proven experience with erosion and sediment control
• Physical fitness and a positive attitude toward working outdoors in all conditions
