Beyond is partnering with a national charity supporting New Zealanders and their whānau when they need it most. This is a great opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional who’s looking for flexibility, autonomy, and purpose.

We’re looking for someone who’s confident across the core finance functions; reporting, budgeting, audit, payroll, and systems, but who also brings a pragmatic, can-do attitude and the ability to prioritise what matters most.

You’ll be working closely with a growing and highly qualified finance team, supported with strong systems with scope to improve systems, streamline processes, and support funding and reporting across a national organisation as they expand to support some really exciting projects.

This would be ideal for someone looking to set out of an audit practice, or a Management Accountant looking to broaden their scope.

The charity provides services, education, and advocacy to support individuals and communities across Aotearoa who are navigating neurodiversity. With a strong values base and a commitment to inclusion, it works alongside families, professionals, and government agencies to promote informed choice and equitable outcomes.

What’s on offer
  • Well structured and growing finance team
  • Personal growth and coaching
  • A values-driven organisation with a meaningful mission
  • Supportive leadership and a collaborative team culture
  • Role breadth and autonomy. Genuinely no two days are the same here
  • Flexibility to work up to 4 days a week from home, and one day a week in the Hutt Valley
What we’re looking for
  • CA qualification (or equivalent)
  • Strong commercial understanding and ability to prioritise tasks
  • Excellent communication and relationship skills
  • Experience across reporting, audit prep, payroll, and budgeting
  • Confidence with Excel and financial systems (MYOB EXO, iPayroll, etc.)
  • A flexible, proactive mindset and willingness to improve systems

If this is your next step, or if you would like to find out more, please reach out to peter.sewell@beyond.co.nz or apply online.
