The ideal candidate needs to be mechanically minded, adaptable and work well in a team with a positive attitude and willingness to learn. They will also be able to work independently and take responsibility for the tasks set for the day. Friendly customer service manner is crucial, and you must be able to work well under pressure with customers.
Job Description
Daily job might include but not limited to the following tasks:- Fill LPG cylinders for delivery vehicles and the public walk-in customers.
- Maintain the yard and depot in tidy manner.
- Provide a high level of customer service to walk in cash and carry customers in a timely manner.
- Assisting with LPG cylinder painting and refurbishments.
- Complete operational depot tasks including stock takes and cylinder inspections.
- Unload/reload the cylinder delivery trucks.
- Provide cylinder deliveries and connections to customers in a safe manner.
- Attend Health and Safety toolbox meetings.
- Always comply with all health and safety and company policies
- Other duties as directed from time to time.
- Current Class 2 Drivers Licence and commercial driving experience.
- DG Endorsement.
- LPG Filler training but not essential.
References required.
