About the Role
An exciting and challenging opportunity is available for a social worker to become a part of a dynamic Allied Health Team at Hawkes Bay Hospital. This role will be based in the Assessment, Treatment and Rehabilitation ward, offering the chance to further develop and expand your assessment and intervention skills.We are looking for someone who will get involved in the delivery of a high - quality, safe, effective, and comprehensive Social Work service to our adult patients, clients (tangata whaiora), and their whanau. Our ideal candidate will be able to advocate for their patients and work as part of the team to provide the best care possible.

About the Team/Service/ Location
You will be part of a diverse and supportive team working in partnership with patients, whanau, and the wider multidisciplinary team to provide high quality, culturally safe, patient - centred therapy for our community. You will be part of the wider social work team, across the inpatient ward service.You will have access to regular in - service training, special interest working groups, and learning opportunities to develop your clinical skills. Our Social Work Professional Lead supports your growth and promotes the social work service throughout our hospital.

About you
We are looking for a social worker who:
- Has a Bachelor of Social Work, or equivalent.
- Experience in managing diverse and social complexities
- Is New Zealand registered with current annual practising certificate (APC)
