As a **Kitchen Assistant at the MoE Central Production Kitchen in Eden Park**, you will support the smooth and safe preparation, reheating, packing, and dispatch of meals for schools. You’ll handle food, equipment, and waste safely, ensuring all meals meet quality and food safety expectations while contributing to an efficient and positive team environment.

• Receive delivered meals and goods, complete temperature checks, follow corrective action procedures, and store items correctly.
• Support food production tasks including thawing, reheating meals, loading oven cassettes, sorting trays, and preparing special meal labels.
• Pack hot and cold meals for dispatch, load Cambro boxes, and organise delivery routes.
• Maintain cleanliness through daily shutdown routines—clean ovens, trays, equipment, kitchen areas, waste stations, and public spaces.
• Communicate effectively with managers, follow HACCP and food safety procedures, manage waste streams, and assist with continuous improvement activities.

• A reliable team player with a positive attitude and the ability to work independently when needed.
• Physically fit, hardworking, and comfortable in a fast-paced production environment with repetitive tasks.
• Strong communication skills and able to follow routines, instructions, and food safety processes.
• Flexible, safety-focused, and committed to maintaining excellent hygiene and presentation standards.
• Previous experience in a kitchen environment or with kitchen equipment is an advantage but not essential.
