Part-Time Café & restaurant Team – Kitchen Cook / Chef & Barista / Front of House
We are a busy neighbourhood café & restaurant located in the historic and vibrant heart of Petone. We are currently looking for part-time team members to join our friendly and supportive team.
We offer stable part-time hours, with the opportunity to grow into a full-time role if it’s a good fit.
We are currently hiring for:
- Kitchen Chef / Cook
- Barista / Front of House
- Kitchen Role Responsibilities:
Following recipes and plating standards
Maintaining kitchen cleanliness and organisation
Food safety and stock rotation
Assisting during busy service periods
Kitchen Role Requirements: At least 1 year of relevant commercial kitchen experience
Able to run a service independentlyComfortable working solo during quieter periods
- Barista / Front of House Responsibilities:
Making espresso coffee and beverages.
Strong coffee skills with passion for latte art.Taking orders and operating POS.
Serving food and beverages.
Friendly customer service and good communication skills
Keeping front-of-house clean and tidy

Weekend availability
Applicants must have NZ residency or NZ open working visa, we currently do not provide employer sponsorship.
