We are in an exciting growth stage and are looking for an experienced and qualified HVAC Technician with an EST certification and experience to work on various building assets and delivering top-notch service and solutions. Based from our depot in West Auckland, you'll be part of an energetic team and this gig is all about tackling a mix of minor capital projects and maintenance jobs.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering top-notch mechanical and electrical HVAC services
  • Handling both planned and unscheduled maintenance tasks for electrical/mechanical HVAC assets
  • Conducting planned preventative maintenance to our contractual KPI's and prescribed standards
  • Your skills will be in demand for minor capex work and as the team grows, project work

Although this position primarily operates from Monday to Friday, it's essential to note that you will also have on-call responsibilities on a rotating roster. Rest assured, these on-call duties are scheduled in advance, and you will be compensated accordingly.

What you need to be successful:

  • A minimum EST certification, EWRB would be advantageous
  • New Zealand Certificate in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning – Trade (Level 4)
  • At least 3-5 years work experience, proven experience in installation of split systems would be ideal, technical response and maintenance work essential
  • A commitment to upholding the highest health and safety standard
  • The ability to work efficiently and unsupervised, while still being a reliable team player
  • Demonstrated fault-finding and problem-solving capabilities
  • Proactive approach to your work, taking the lead when needed
  • A full class 1 drivers licence, this role does require driving from each site across the Rodney and Waitakere district
