As a highly dedicated, professional Support Worker you will:
- Provide tailored care and support to youth, empowering them to achieve independence and personal goals.
- Foster a safe, nurturing environment for healing, growth, and development.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and professionals to deliver the best outcomes for clients.
- Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and client-centred care in all interactions.
To be considered for the role you will have:
- Level 4 Health & Wellbeing Certificate (or equivalent qualification).
- Experience working with youth, particularly those facing intellectual, mental health, or trauma-related challenges.
- A full New Zealand driver's licence and a car to transport the clients.
- A willingness to complete additional free training to build your expertise.
- Excellent communication, empathy, and resilience in a dynamic environment.
- An interest to work short shifts for at least 20 hours per week (ideal for those seeking flexible work hours)
