The RoleWe are looking for an experienced Marine Fitout / Service Technician to join our team in Nelson.
This is a varied role working across new builds, servicing, fitouts, upgrades, and customer projects. No two days will be the same.
You’ll be involved in:- Boat fitouts and accessory installation
- Outboard servicing and maintenance
- Diagnostics and fault finding
- Outboard repowers and rigging
- Marine electronics installation and setup
- Electrical systems and marine upgrades
- General marine servicing and repairs
What We’re Looking For
- Previous marine industry experience preferred
- Proven experience with outboard motors and marine systems
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Experience with rigging and fitouts highly regarded
- Electrical and electronics experience an advantage
- Mercury Outboard certification or previous Mercury experience is an advantage
- High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Positive attitude and strong communication skills
