With seasonal demand peaking over summer, we're looking for someone who can scale their hours with our workload - from part-time flexibility during quieter months to increased hours when the boats are buzzing!
What We're Looking For- An efficient team member who takes pride in their work, predominantly independent, but knows when to ask the right questions at crucial moments
- Strong background in AC electrical work, with marine experience highly valued, and RV/off-grid experience welcomed
- Someone passionate about marine electrical systems who stays current with the latest products and technology advances
- Ideally someone who owns a boat, motorhome, or off-grid property themselves and understands the complexities of marine electrical work
- Could be an experienced AC electrician seeking more flexible work arrangements and variety in their role
- A good sense of humour is essential for this team!
- Passion for the marine environment and electrical systems
- Excellent diagnostic, fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Strong DC electrical knowledge and experience
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Common-sense approach to complex electrical challenges
- Clean, full New Zealand Driver's Licence
- Flexible part-time hours - negotiable for the right person, scaling up during busy summer season
