We’re working with a well-established nationwide company, and they’re looking to bring on an experienced forklift mechanic to help keep up with demand. It’s a great time to join a supportive team with strong systems, solid training, and a steady pipeline of work.
About the role:You’ll be carrying out servicing, inspections, and repairs on a wide range of forklifts and related equipment. A big part of the job will involve diagnosing faults—both mechanical and software—and getting machines back up and running efficiently.
You’ll be working out on customer sites, so being professional and easy to deal with is key.
There will be times you’ll help other techs, respond to breakdowns, or be on call, so flexibility and teamwork are important. You’ll also be expected to follow health and safety procedures and represent the company well while on site.
What we’re looking for:
- Experience working with forklifts
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Confident communicator, especially when working directly with customers
- Forklift licence
- Willingness to learn – full training and support provided
