Position Overview:
We’re on the lookout for a hands-on, motivated Hydrovac Driver to join our growing crew. If you enjoy working outdoors, operating gear, and being part of big projects, this role’s for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Driving and operating hydro excavation trucks and machinery
- Helping out on-site with general labouring when needed
- Performing daily vehicle checks and basic maintenance
- Accurately completing logbooks and site paperwork
- Following all health & safety procedures
- Working closely with your foreman and the rest of the crew to get the job done right
Skills & Qualifications:
- Class 4 License (WTR ideal, but could be acquired on the job)
- Some experience with hydro vac trucks or civil construction work
- Good communicator
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently, managing time and tasks effectively
- Commitment to health and safety standards and maintaining a safe working environment
- Physical fitness to perform manual tasks and work in various weather conditions
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test
