Slurry & Feed Sales Rep

TAC is a contractor based in Ashburton. We have been running for 8 years and offer a range of services such as: Baling, Slurry Application, Cultivation, Rut Busting and Earth Works.

We are on the look out for a part time / full time position for a Sales Rep.

Looking for someone that is a good communicator, team player and easy to get along with. A people person that is approachable and will approach farmers. Someone that is passionate about the agriculture sector and seeing jobs completed to a very high standard.

• Cold Calling on potential clients to introduce TAC and the services it offers.
• Catching up with existing clients to make sure their needs are met and are all okay.
• Make feed sales calls and source feed for clients in need.
• Handling of incoming phone calls & other communications from both clients and suppliers.
• Complete Invoices for jobs and submit for approval.
• Implement systems to streamline information and run more efficiently.
• Be involved with weekly meetings for catch ups on work for the week, health and safety and other topics that need covering.
• Assist in the running of TAC for day to day jobs and staff management, when required.
• Fill in operating of machinery when required, such as relieving staff on days off and/or short on operators, when required.
• Meal Deliveries to staff when busy, when required.
