Showcase your expertise in a specialist role within a large Corporate Finance teamDynamic, relationship based approach to Capital Asset accountingPermanent position, based at our National Office in Wellington Mō te tūnga | About the roleThe Corporate Finance team is recruiting a Fixed Asset Accountant to lead the capital accounting processes, policies, technical compliance and customer support.As our new Fixed Asset Accountant, you will be responsible for ensuring the financial information for the Department's assets is accurate and accessible across the entire Department.

The role ensures that quality financial information for fixed assets is maintained in accordance with the financial accounting standards that supports the business in making management decisions to deliver on their business strategy. Mōu | About you To be successful in this role you will have experience working in the Fixed Assets accounting space, with sound analytical and technical accounting skills.

You will have the opportunity to work with the senior management across the organisation and enjoy building and maintaining strong working relationships with them.A member of Chartered Accountants of Australia and New Zealand qualification or equivalent is preferred or relevant tertiary degree or equivalent knowledge, skills and experience and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
