Health Promoter/Health Educator - Taranaki
The Cancer Society is recruiting for its Health Promotion/Health Education programme in Taranaki.
The Cancer Society’s mission is to improve community wellbeing by reducing the incidence and impact of cancer.
Te Tiriti o Waitangi is foundational to our work, and reducing cancer inequities is a priority for us.
About the role:
This is a permanent part-time position of flexible hours (30 hours per week and will be arranged and confirmed with the candidate) based in New Plymouth/Hawera.
We are looking for a team member passionate about education and wellbeing of the Taranaki community.
The successful candidate will be joining a small energetic and dedicated team in the Taranaki Centre.
Community connections and Te Reo would be an advantage but is not a requirement.
The purpose of the role is to:-
Improve Health and Wellbeing for people, whanau and community.
We work with schools, workplaces, businesses, health providers and community groups.
